What customers pay for
SMG Horizon Services Private Limited sells gold to retail customers in India through the Save My Gold app for Android and iOS, as physical coins and as digital gold, and buys digital gold back on request. We disclose all of this openly.
Gold coins
Customers pay SMG for physical gold coins at a quoted price: gold value, making charges, GST and shipping. SMG invoices and ships the coins by secure courier.
Digital gold
Customers pay SMG for a quantity of gold. After payment, SMG confirms physical gold from inventory or its supplier (Malabar Gold & Diamonds), invoices it and allocates it to the customer in custody (To be published).
Sell-back with bank payouts
Customers may sell eligible digital gold back to SMG at a disclosed buyback rate. SMG pays the customer's verified bank account. This is a separate purchase by SMG, not a refund.
What payments are not
Payments are not deposits, wallet top-ups, subscriptions, instalment schemes or investments with returns.
Registered business objects
From the company's Memorandum of Association, clause III(a), as altered by special resolution dated 14 September 2026:
- Precious metals: purchasing, selling, trading and dealing in gold, silver, bullion, coins and other precious metals through online and digital platforms, websites and mobile applications, and operating technology platforms that let customers purchase, hold, sell and redeem them, subject to applicable laws, rules, regulations and approvals. Save My Gold operates under this object.
- Electrical and electronic goods: manufacturing, trading, distributing, servicing and dealing in electrical and electronic goods, appliances and allied products. This is not part of the Save My Gold service.
